Policy & Returns
Every HRDL piece is built to order. Once your order has been placed through the website you will receive an order confirmation via email. Your order is then added to the production queue and fulfilled as soon as possible. The material selection is carefully done, and every piece is constructed to the highest standard.
Cancellations / Alterations
Order cancellations and alterations (alterations may impact price) are allowed within a 2 (two) day period from the time of purchase. After this time, we will not accept cancellations or alterations.
10 day return period
It is okay to change your mind after that purchase decision. If for any reason you`re not wanting to keep your new piece of furniture, that is certainly possible to take care of. Returns are available within 10 (ten) days after the package has been received. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee of the initial purchase amount. Any shipping charges and/or customs/import taxes/VAT are non-refundable from the seller. A proforma invoice for the refund charge will be supplied via email. Returns must be authorized by HRDL before shipment. Once confirmed, HRDL will arrange for pickup by a suitable shipping service. Customer is responsible for any return shipping fee, and the fee will be retracted from the monetary refund. The refund will take place 2-3 business days after receipt and inspection by HRDL. Refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the original purhace.
Any damages occured during shipment must be well documented with clear and bright photographs sent by email within 2 (two) days after delivery. Inspection of original packaging is adviced before opening to ensure that the goods are not damaged during shipment. We ensure that the goods are packed according to industry standards. Documentation of both the original packaging and furniture is required to initiate replacement or refund due to damage.
Custom items are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
Customs, VAT and import taxes
Orders shipped outside of Norway may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; HRDL has no control over these charges, nor can HRDL predict what they may be.
Product care
We design and build our furniture with pride and guarantee that the pieces will last a lifetime. Wood and natural materials can and will visually and techically change over time, and proper care and treatment is neccessary to make sure the longevity of the furniture. Use wood safe cleaning products and use coasters and plates under wet objects and kitchenware. If you wish to apply oil or generally refinish your piece, please contact us via email (post@hrdl.no) so that we can ensure that you take the proper steps. If you for any reason have any issues with you furniture, please don`t hesitate to reach out to us, so that we can guide you and make sure that your piece will get the proper treatment.
Any hardware joint is recommended to be retightened every 6 (six) months to ensure stability and safety of the furniture.
HRDL is not responsible for any usage and/or damages inflicted by/around/over/under the furniture to any person, interior or object. Table top dancing is - as always - not encouraged, but can be great fun. Please enjoy!
